After the successful start of our tour around Lithuania in Kaišiadorys last October in 2022, we are happy to announce that on April 25th , the “Travelling Aristavėlė’s Manor” is starting its spring travels in Šalčininkai!
We will be waiting for you from April 25th to 27th from 1000 am in the courtyard of the Janos Sniadeckis high school (Mokyklos str. 22) in Šalčininkai.
“Traveling Aristavėlė’s Manor” is a project that provides an opportunity to get to know the culture of manors through different senses and will tour 10 of Lithuania’s regions and two Lithuanian communities in Norway. The well-equipped mobile manors with its interactive 18th and 19th centuries of the manor exposition, where visitors will get to know the culture of this particular manor, as well as the culture of Lithuanian manors in general, through different senses – smell, taste, sight, hearing, touch. What does the manor smell? What do the manor dishes taste like? How did the courtiers dress? And what can be seen, heard, touched there? Come and find out!
